"The Serbian government is committed to achieving durable stability in the region. Serbia's policy regarding the problems in Kosovo is not changing. We are trying to arrive at a just solution, which is a prerequisite of stability in the whole region, through peaceful means and talks," said the prime minister.

Dacic said the traditionally good bilateral relations should be advanced in the interest of both countries, the Serbian government's press office said in a release.

Dacic and Chepurin agreed there was room to improve the economic cooperation between Serbia and Russia.
