The president of the Serb national Council fo nothern Kosovo, Milan Ivanovic, expressed hope that the government would be made by the Serb Radical Party, the Democratic Party of Serbia and the Socialist Party.

"The electoral results in Kosovo show a clear position of the population which lives here - this is why a coalition which puts Kosovo first on the agenda would be of greatest help to the Kosovo Serbs", Ivanovic said.

The head of the Kosovo branch of the Democratic Party of President Boris Tadic, Goran Bogdanovic, said he hoped a pro-European government would be formed.

"Only a stable, strong and European Serbia can strengthen the Serb community in Kosovo and fight for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country", Bogdanovic said.
