Romania: Unilateral independence “no solution at all”
Romanian Foreign Minister Adrian Cioroianu said in Athens that the one-sided declaration of Kosovo’s independence is “no solution at all”.

Cioroianu reiterated Romania's official stand on the Kosovo issue and added that a sustainable solution for the problem of the Kosovo status must be found by negotiating for an understanding between Belgrade and Pristina in keeping with the international law.
His Greek counterpart Dora Bakoyannis said "Greece has never liked unilateral declarations".
Meanwhile, former German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder said EU member countries made a mistake by reaching a "premature decision on Kosovo's recognition".
