Families of kidnapped Serbs to file charges against del Ponte
The association of families of kidnapped and murdered civilians, soldiers and policemen in Kosovo on Monday expressed their indignation at the release of former commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) Ramush Haradinaj and announced the filing of charges against former chief prosecutor Carla del Ponte of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague for covering up crimes against Serbs.

Association President Simo Spasic announced the filing of criminal charges against Del Ponte for covering up crimes committed against Serbs and other non-Albanians, because she presented in her book "The Hunt" data which association representatives had spoken about for years.
Spasic confirmed the claims presented by del Ponte in her book, that Serbs were taken to Albania and that they were there tortured, their vital organs taken out and then sold. The association sent evidence of this to The Hague Tribunal already in 2001, and it was said at a meeting with Del Ponte in 2004 that all Serbs taken to Albania were killed there, Spasic said.
The association also sent television footage taken by foreign media to the ICTY, he said, showing lines of ethnic Albanians fleeing into Albania. On these films, he said, families of missing or murdered Serbs and other non-Albanians recognized their loved ones.
Representatives of this association underscored that they demand punishment for all those who committed crimes against Serbs and that the Special Court for War Crimes, based in Serbia, should finally process these cases.
