Tadic and Kostunica will head the Belgrade team during the direct talks with the Pristina delegation on September 28 in New York.
The chief of the operational makeup is the minister for Kosovo Slobodan Samardzic, while the representatives of the Kosovo Serbs are Marko Jaksic and Goran Bogdanovic.
According to the decision, the Serbian foreign minister and other government ministers will take part in the work of the negotiating team on the basis of the joint decision of the co-chairmen of the team, and the two of them can also decide to engage other representatives of the Serbs and other minority communities in Kosovo.
Permanent advisers to the state's negotiating team are appointed from among the assistant ministers and advisers to the president and prime minister of Serbia, while a special permanent adviser is professor Thomas Fleiner of the University of Freiburg in Switzerland.
