U.S.: Kosovo will never be part of Serbia again
The United Stated continued the exchange of harsh words with Belgrade on Monday, warning Serbian authorities that Kosovo would never again be a part of that country after Washington masterminded its secession.

"We are going to continue to try to work with both the Russians and the Serbs on this but I think that it ought to be clear to everybody at this point that Kosovo is never going to be a part of Serbia again," State Department spokesman Tom Casey said.
Casey said the United States, which has strongly supported and immediately, recognized Kosovo's independence, had no problem with peaceful demonstrations over the matter, so long as they did not turn violent.
"We don't want to isolate Serbia. We think that (Europe) is the future of the country and we hope that is the direction its leaders are taking," Casey said.
After organizing the secession of Kosovo from Serbia, Washington has launched a worldwide campaign aimed at securing its recognition by the wider international community.
