SNS condemns incident in Decani
The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) fiercely condemned Albanian extremists' vandalistic attempt to enter by force the Visoki Decani monastery (southern Kosovo), in front of which they protested on Friday, and called on the international community and all relevant bodies to react urgently.

"Such impermissible behavior of Albanian extremists is sending a clear message that Serbs are not wanted in Kosovo-Metohija, that their national and cultural identity is being destroyed in a systematic way, their history is being altered, their sacred things snatched, which cannot contribute to peaceful life and reconciliation between representatives of the Serbian and Albanian peoples," reads a release issued by the SNS.
The SNS called on the international community and all relevant bodies to react urgently, protect monks, secure this precious monument of Serb culture and spiritual life and ensure lasting peace in Kosovo.
