EULEX not behind statement on customs charges
Serbia has received assurance from EULEX that it was not behind the supposed EULEX chief's of customs statement that customs will be paid at integrated border crossings in northern Kosovo, head of the government office for Kosovo Aleksandar Vulin said on Friday.

"The government will monitor further events carefully and react accordingly," Vulin said, stressing that the agreement on no customs fees had to be followed.
"I hope the agreement will not get suspended and that, according to today's agreement in Brussels, all issues will be settled at the technical groups' meeting on Monday," said Vucic, who attended a meeting between Serbia's Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton.
According to the media, aEULEX customs official told companies from northern Kosovo they would have to pay customs, or be brought to court, but added that the outcome of the talks between Dacic and Ashton in Brussels should first be seen.
