The exercises are not organized as a preparation or a response to any present or future situation in Kosovo, says the press release.
All multi-national units under the command of KFOR will take part in the field training.
The exercise, dubbed 'Across Kosovo,' is part of the training cycle which aims to improve interoperability and the ability of KFOR to react in any given situation, the mission said.
KFOR performs routine joint exercises that demonstrate the mission's determination and ability to effectively deploy its forces in case of need, as part of its commitment to prevent any violence or unrest in order to preserve a safe environment and freedom of movement.
