The daily published that Belgrade persuaded Croatia, Macedonia and Montenegro not to defend the independence of Kosovo in The Hague, reminding that these three former Yugoslav republics recognized the independence of the province.
Zeri specifies that Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic persuaded Skoplje, Podgorica, and Zagreb not to get involved in the process in the Hague and not to deposit relevant documents for consideration of the case. Slovenia is the only state from the territory of the former Yugoslavia, which will help Kosovo in this case, the daily writes.
