EULEX acquits sentenced Albanian bus bomber
In appellate proceedings, EULEX has acquitted Florim Ejupi, who was previously sentenced to 40 years in prison for the placing and activating of an explosive device on a road, which set ablaze a Serb bus near Podujevo, northern Kosovo, in 2001.

A total of 12 Serbs were killed, and 22 more injured in the bombing.
EULEX appeals court had acquitted Ejupi due to "lack of evidence".
Serbia's Interior Minister Ivica Dacic called the decision "scandalous", while Serbia's Ministry for Kosovo said it was "impermissible to acquit a person who had been proven, even in the conditions of inadequate initial investigation, to be responsible for the death of 12 and injuring of 22 people".
