Kosovo police force regional spokesman Besim Hoti said that the police have pinpointed the explosion site close to the Medical High School in the northern part of the city.

An investigation conducted by the Kosovo police and by special Kfor units determined that the blast was most probably caused by a hand grenade.

So far no one has been charged with the attack, and the motives of the attack remain unknown, Hoti stated.
