Solana expects Eulex start on December 2
The European Union High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana said on Monday that he hoped for a start of the Eulex mission on December 2 throughout Kosovo.

Solana said he expected the report of the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon to be "presented soon to the UN Security Council".
"It is not up to me to say when, it is up to him. I hope it will be followed by the statement of the presidency of the UN Security Council", Solana said.
"I hope that the deployment will start on time, in early December, possibly on December 2, on the entire territory of Kosovo, in line with the Joint Action », the basis for the Eulex deployment adopted in February by EU members, he said."
Solana informed on Monday the Eulex chief Yves de Kermabon about his talks with Ban on Friday in New York.
Some 600 internationals, and in total 1,000 Eulex staff, are currently deployed in Kosovo.
