Rally in Podgorica in support to opposition leader
Over 1,000 people who walked from various Montenegrin towns gathered Monday evening in front of the Montenegrin parliament in Podgorica to support Serb List leader Andrija Mandic who has been on hunger strike for seven days in protest against the recognition of Kosovo's independence by the Montenegrin government

The protesters, opposition MP's and the press were not allowed to enter the parliament building, and Mandic could not go out as security would then have prevented him from returning inside.
No incidents were registered at the rally and strict security measures were taken.
Protesters who headed the marchers addressed the rally, reiterating the opposition demand that the government revoke its decision on recognizing Kosovo's independence, hold a referendum on the issue or organize early parliamentary elections.
