Kosovo Serb leader: Paramilitary group from central Serbia not welcome
The head of the Serb National Council of northern Kosovska Mitrovica Nebojsa Jovic called on the organizers of an upcoming rally by the organization called “Guard of Emperor Lazar” to cancel it as it could damage the Kosovo Serbs.

Jovic described the announcement of the rally in northern Kosovo as "malicious."
The Guard of Emperor Lazar, an organization whose size and power are unknown, has recently announced an October 14 rally in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, and demanded the withdrawal of NATO, Kfor, Unmik as well as the disarming of the Albanian National Army (ANA), dubbed "terrorist" by the UN.
The representatives of Unmik said earlier this week that it would not allow the presence or activities of the "Guard of Emperor Lazar" in Kosovo, because the Unmik chief had previously marked the organization as a "paramilitary" one.
UN officials also said that special Kosovo and UNMIK police units were investigating the appearance of ANA members in the north of Kosovo.
Members of the Albanian National Army, known also as AKSh, were seen in the territory periodically after the conflict ended in 1999. They have taken responsibility for several bombing incidents in Kosovo since then. The UN has banned the group and declared it "terrorist".
