Montenegro will back Serbia's initiative
The Montenegrin Foreign Ministry has instructed its representative to the UN General Assembly to back Serbia's initiative that the International Court of Justice assesses the legality of Kosovo's independence declaration, Foreign Minister Milan Rocen said

This position has been announced despite clear indications that the Montenegrin government might recognise Kosovo independence very soon, since Rocen and Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic indirectly hinted such a possibility in the parliament last week.
The Montenegrin opposition has warned of large protests in case Podgorica recognizes Pristina.
