Belgrade calls on Skopje not to recognize Kosovo
Serbian President Boris Tadic urged Macedonia's authorities not to recognize Kosovo’s independence.

After talks with his Macedonian counterpart Branko Crvenkovski which were held on the sidelines of the UN general Assembly session in New York, Tadic said that the government in Belgrade would undertake corresponding measures if Skopje should decide after all to acknowledge the self-proclaimed independence of the southern Serbian province.
Crvenkovski expressed belief that in reaching the decision on Kosovo recognition, the government in Skopje would take into consideration all reasons pro and contra.
