Belgrade slams appointment of new OSCE chief in Kosovo
Serbia slammed the Thursday appointment of Austrian diplomat Werner Almhofer as head of the OSCE mission in Kosovo.

Government sources said the appointment "was done without consulting all member states of the organization and has caused disapproval from the representatives of Serbia at the OSCE".
Almhofer will replace Tim Guldimann of Switzerland at this post, it was announced by the Finnish Chairmanship at the session of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna.
"Stubb ignored an objection sent in writing by Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic," Belgrade media quoted said, adding official Belgrade would "take adequate measures against the decision.
