"I believe that the proposal will arrive at the UN General Assembly and that the chance for reviewing the issue of Kosovo are greater because of Abkhasia and South Ossetia," says Tibor Varadi, an international law professor and head of Serbia's legal team at the ICJ.
Varadi said that "there are similarities and that's why there is more interest in the world in clarifying this issue from the legal point of view."
"I still believe that Serbia's initaitive to take the path of international law and to request the opinion of the highest court in the world of law is pro-European oriented," Varadi said.
