Sejdiu expressed readiness to meet with Tadic if their meeting did not focus on the status of Kosovo but on relations between "two independent states".
"The sole possible way for a meeting between President Tadic and Mr. Sejdiu are new talks, under UN auspices, on the future status of our southern province of Kosovo and Metohia," Tadic's office said.
