"Serbian officials have continously warned that the unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo, as well as the recognition of this illegal act, can have a caracter of a precedent and destabilize other regions in the world", the statement said.
"It is with sorrow that we take note that such predictions have been proven", the ministry said.
