Pristina tries to reach for Arab recognition
An internationl conference entitled "Kosovo and the Arab world" opened in Pristina on Monday, organized by the forum of non-governmental organizations Forum 2015 and aimed at securing the support of Arab countries for the recognition of the independence of Kosovo

Participants in the conference are scientists, publicists, reporters and representatives of the civilian sector who are thought to have influence with Arab countries, as well as representatives of political and public life in Kosovo.
Intellectuals who are taking part in the work of the conference have said that there are dilemmas in the Arab world regarding the independence of Kosovo, and that this is the reason why there is hesitation to recognize it.
Not a single Arab country has recognized Kosovo to date.
