The hackers posted a map of the former Yugoslavia
on the site and an old Yugoslav flag with a red five-pointed star in the
middle.
The hackers also signed themselves as the "Team for a United Yugoslavia" and
wrote "This is Serbia,"
according to reports by Pristina media.
"Yesterday, we were attacked by hackers
from Serbia,"
said the municipal president's political adviser for media issues, Asdren Osaj.
He said that it would appear that the hackers were from Serbia
based on the content of the messages and the pictures that were left on the
site.
Osaj said that none of the material on the municipality's site had been damaged
during the attack.
Recently, Albanian hackers had attacked several Serbian government, municipal and media web sites, posting images of Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaqi and U.S. President George W. Bush.
