Indonesia: Kosovo is case of secession, not religion
Indonesia argues that the problem of Kosovo is a case of secessionism and not of religious conflict.

"Kosovo wants to break away from Serbia, although it is a part of its territory, and there are no elements of a religious conflict there. Indonesia has based its position on these facts, on the respect of the territorial integrity of your country. This position is clear", Ambassador to Belgrade, Sri Rahaju Dalimunte, said on Sunday.
He recalled that Indonesia recently, at the summit of the Organization of Islamic Unity, insisted that the Kosovo problem be treated solely as a political one, rather than as a religious conflict.
Indonesia is the world's most populous Muslim country.
The Kosovo Albanian leadership has tried unsuccesfully to lobby Muslim countries for their support, appealing to Islamic solidarity.
