German lawyers association: Kosovo is part of Serbia
Kosovo is still a part of Serbia and the recognition of the independence of Kosovo by Germany and other countries is in violation of international law, the German branch of the International Association of Lawyers Against Nuclear Arms (IALANA) has announced.

The German branch of the IALANA released a declaration concerning the question of Kosovo in which it explicitly expressed support to the positions of Spain and Russia regarding Kosovo's status.
"In its Resolution 1244 of June 10, 1999, the United Nations (UN) Security Council demanded the restoration of wide autonomy for Kosovo and at the same time rejected the secession of this region and its transforming into an independent state", the IALANA members pointed out.
