Jeremic: If the EU conditions Serbia’s membership with Kosovo recognition – we will reject it
In the event that the European Union should ever set the condition to Serbia to recognize the independence of Kosovo, the answer of the Serbian government will be negative, Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said in an interview with BBC.

Jeremic said that he does not expect the EU will ever set this as a condition to Serbia for its admission, because that requires a consensus which will not be reached.
"Even if such a condition were set, the answer would be negative", he said.
"Serbia will continue to defend Kosovo. It will use all diplomatic, legal and political means available to a sovereign and independent state to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity", Serbia's Foreign Minister underlined.
