Azerbaijan rejects Armenian opinion on use of Kosovo as a precedent for Nagorno-Karabakh

Official Baku considers groundless the opinion of Armenian leadership on the use of Kosovo as a precedent in the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, spokesman of Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs Khazar Ibrahim said commenting a statement of Armenian Premier Tigran Sargsyan.

The Spokesman underlined the right of autonomy of Nagorno-Karabakh could be determined only within Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity and after return of Azerbaijani refugees to their own lands.

Ibrahim said "such statements by Armenian officials are contrary to essence of peace talks."

Neither Armenia nor Azerbeijan have recognized Kosovo's unilateral secession.
