EU’s Feith urged Montenegro to recognize Kosovo
The EU Special Representative Pieter Feith has urged Montenegro to recognize Kosovo “as soon as possible”.

He said the act "might not be friendly towards Belgrade, but it would contribute to stability in the region".
Feith, however, expressed confidence that it would not have "huge consequences".
Montenegrins, who make up 42 percent of the country's population, and Serbs who make up 33 percent, are both followers of the Serbian Orthodox Church and have a common link to Kosovo's cultural and historical heritage.
