"This is an obligation. Possibilities for this outcome are growing every year", said Krasniqi, a former leader of the ethnic Albanian separatist Kosovo Liberation Army.

"The fulfilment of this ideal represents the responsibility of all Albanian politicians... the unification of Albanians is an ideal which is 100 years old. Politicians have the obligation to do everything in their power to achieve it and possibilities for this outcome are growing every year", Krasniqi told the Pristina daily "Epoka e re"

Albanians are spread around Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, southern Serbia as well as the Serbian province of Kosovo, from which they unilaterally seceded with the support of the United States and several EU states.
