Drecun: Agreement with Serbs - only way out
Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Kosovo Milovan Drecun believes that the only way out from the current situation lies in an agreement with Serbs in Kosovo, noting that the visit of Serbia's First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic could bring about some changes, if its failure were not prepared in advance.

"What would happen if the ROSU special units enter a health center or school in Gracanica, Strpce, saying that from now on there will be no classes in Serbian, that Kosovo laws will be enforced. Who can prevent that? ," Drecun said to the Friday issue of Belgrade-based broadsheet Politika.
"The prime minister (Ivica Dacic) said that Serbia will not stop financing the institutions, they should be renamed, reorganized within that community. The problem is the fact that they would be within the legal and constitutional framework of Pristina. That is a problem, indeed, but, in terms of their functioning, nothing would change," Drecun said.
"The question is whether these people are ready to hear the arguments or just insist on their views on the matters... In that situation, Belgrade could not protect the Serbs in an adequate way," Drecun said.
