He called the agreement "shameful".

"We will support all requests they will make. Nobody has the right to teach the Serbian people in Kosovo what their interest is," Kostunica said on Saturday.

He noted that the Serbian people would with prevent the implementation of the "shameful" Brussels agreement with peaceful resistance, adding that the DSS would do everything to help the Serbian people preserve Serbian state institutions in Kosovo.

Kostunica also added that the DSS would support a protest of Kosovo Serbs that will be held on May 10 in Belgrade.

"Every part of our homeland is being defended in Kosovo today, Vojvodina, Raska and eastern Serbia. If we do not defend Kosovo, we can be sure that dark clouds are gathering above the entire country," he explained.

Kostunica said that the DSS would support the initiative to hold a referendum on the Brussels agreement "which represents the killing of the state of Serbia and extradition of the Serbian people to the fake state of Kosovo".

"The EU gave an ultimatum to Serbia that this agreement needs to be signed and implemented until St. Vitus Day (June 28) so it would give Serbia a date (for the start of the EU accession talks). Serbia has already made the first step, the signing of the agreement, and the EU now wants the implementation of the agreement. Well, it is not going to happen. The Serbian people will prevent the implementation of the agreement with peaceful resistance," he pointed out.

According to the DSS leader, the agreement is anti-constitutional and it is directly aimed against Serbia's state and national interests and interests of the Serbian people.
