Stefanovic told reporters in the parliament after the consultations that he expects the Serbian government to deliver to the parliament on Tuesday the document which will be the topic of the discussion, adding that he expects that this will be a report which will include the tentative agreement.
Stefanovic said that the parliament cannot vote on the tentative agreement since in the manner it would declare on the ratification of an inter-state agreement, which would imply recognition of Kosovo-Metohija.
Noting that it is still uncertain whether the MPs will vote at all on Friday, Stefanovic said that in case of voting only the government's report will be tabled.
The parliament speaker said that MPs will have regular time for the discussion.
When asked whether the session will be attended by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, Stefanovic said that for now there have been no such requests, adding that most probably only government members will be present given that this is a government's report.
The consultations engaged deputy parliament speakers Vesna Kovac, Gordana Comic, Zarko Korac, Konstantin Arsenovic, SNS whip Veroljub Arsic, his deputy Zoran Babic, SPS whip Branko Ruzic, URS whip Vladimir Ilic, DS whip Borislav Stefanovic, DSS official Jovan Palalic, LDP official Nenad Milic, SPO whip Aleksandar Jugovic, SVM whip Balint Pastor, and "Together for Serbia " whip Dussan Petrovic.
The Serbian government adopted on Monday the first agreement on the principles governing the normalization of relations reached in the dialogue on Kosovo in Brussels.
