Threats shameful,we did not recognize independence
Serbian parliament Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic has said that the large number of threats that Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic received via SMS on Saturday are shameful, stressing that the draft agreement from Brussels did not and will not recognize Kosovo independence.

Stefanovic said that it is a shame such messages are being sent to Vucic, who "worked hard, struggled and pulled out a deal in Brussels that is better than all former ones and that Serbs in northern Kosovo-Metohija will benefit from."
"We have not and we will not recognize Kosovo's independence. I am sorry that there are those who are trying to present things in a different light," Stefanovic underlined, adding that as much as everyone refers to the Dayton Accord today so they will refer to the Brussels agreement "as something that will be useful for the preservation of the Serbian people's interests" in the future.
Stefanovic, who is also deputy leader of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), said that the SNS is behind Vucic and supports all the decisions he is making.
