EULEX ready to implement Belgrade-Pristina deals

EULEX Chief Bernd Borchardt said on Thursday EULEX was prepared to implement any new agreements between Belgrade and Pristina.

He said this during a visit to the Bela Zemlja crossing, where he met with Kosovo police and customs officers and their colleague from EULEX who are constantly present at that and the other 5 crossings between Kosovo and central Serbia since the start of the implementation of the Integrated Border Management Agreement.

EULEX is dealing with agreements on border and administrative crossings here and it is all running smoothly, he stated. The colleagues have not reported any significant problems, and small things can be solved, Borchardt pointed out, adding that EULEX was prepared to implement any agreements between Belgrade and Pristina.
