"I have invited tomorrow, Wednesday 17 April, Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Prime Minister Hasim Taci for a meeting in Brussels. I have asked them to come in a constructive spirit, ready to explore different options and agree to a mutual compromise," Ashton said in a release on Tuesday.

Ashton is currently on a mini Balkan tour, but as she is free on Wednesday, she used the opportunity to invite the prime ministers for an informal meeting, as officials in Brussels believe that days of informal contacts between Belgrade and Pristina are bringing the two sides closer.
