It is clear to us that the elements for a solution to the problem of norhtern Kosovo are on the negotating table, Kocijancic told Tanjug, adding that the EU does not intend to impose any agreement on the two parties in the dialogue.

Kocijancic could neither confirm nor deny media reports that Ashton is going to visit Belgrade and Pristina in the next few days.

She said Ashton regretted Belgrade's decision to reject the agreement with Pristina.

I cannot speculate what the consequences (of rejecting the agreement) will be like, but we call on the Serbian government to make a last effort to reach an agreement on the north (of Kosovo), Kocijancic pointed out.
