The agreement based on the principles offered would not lead to a final and sustainable solution and to overcoming the current situation in Kosovo, added the prime minister.
The government also confirmed its commitment to finding a permanent solution, one that will be a firm foundation for building a lasting peace, through peaceful means, or dialogue.
"With the way it has led the dialogue to date and its readiness to compromise, the Serbian government has shown a sincere commitment to reaching an overall agreement," Dacic said while reading out the proposed conclusion to the ministers.
All the members of the government attending the meeting voted in favor of the Conclusion on the need to continue the EU-facilitated dialogue with the Provisional Institutions of Self-Government in Pristina.
Regional Development Minister Verica Kalanovic did not attend the meeting due to illness.
The government authorized the prime minister to inform European Union officials about this decision.
