Vucic does not think Taci's threats were serious

Serbia's First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said Monday he is convinced everyone in the world understands Serbia's insistence on safety guarantees for Serbs in Kosovo, adding he does not think Kosovo's prime minister was serious when he said the situation in the field could deteriorate if Belgrade and Pristina fail to reach an agreement.

After a meeting with Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister Dusko Markovic at the Serbian government building, Vucic said he does not think Hasim Taci was serious, and if he was, it does not speak well of him.
"It is very important that we reach an agreement. We will have to live with and alongside these people for the next ten, hundred and two hundred years - if Taci does not understand this, I cannot do anything to change that. We have been fighting for safety guarantees for Serbs in Kosovo, and I am sure everyone in the world understands this," said Vucic.
