Nikolic meets with Kirby
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic informed U.S. Ambassador Michael Kirby on Friday that Serbia understood the talks in Brussels as the talks on EU accession and not the talks on Kosovo status, and added that he is very disappointed by the outcome.

According to a release issued by the president's press service, Nikolic conferred with Kirby on Friday and during an honest and open meeting, they exchanged views concerning the recently staged Belgrade-Pristina talks in Brussels.
The U.S. ambassador stated that since the beginning of the president Nikolic's mandate, a completely new, high-quality approach was assumed to the establishment of the best possible relations between countries of south-east Europe.
Nikolic underscored that Serbia is committed to establishment of good relations with the countries in the region, and it will insist on it in the time to come.
