Kacin: Compromise still within hand's reach
European Parliament (EP) Rapporteur Jelko Kacin stated on Thursday for the Belgrade-based daily Danas that Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Kosovo Prime Minister Hasim Taci have showed great political courage and responsibility in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, and expressed belief that a compromise on competences of the community of Serb municipalities in Kosovo is still within hand's reach.

Slovakian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak has said that there are a few more days for the European Commission and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton to finalize the report on Serbia's progress in the EU integration process, which will be in line with the general conclusions of the European Council in December 2012, which is a chance for progress in the Belgrade-Pristina talks.
Lajcak told the daily that it is crucial that once the solution is found, it proves to be sustainable, functional and capable of creating a better life for the people and the region.
Swedish Ambassador to Serbia Christer Asp expects from both sides to consider the situation seriously and reach the necessary agreements in very close future.
