Maja Kocijancic, a spokesperson for EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, said on Wednesday that elements for reaching an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina are there, but that Ashton is yet to decide whether she will schedule another round of the dialogue.

"She expects that the participants of the dialogue will call her after consultations in their capitals, but for now she has no intention of scheduling another formal meeting in Brussels," Kocijancic told a news conference in Brussels.
"Elements of solutions are there, and what will happen next - we will see after consultations," she added.

Ashton's spokesperson did not elaborate on the statement that the EU high representative for foreign affairs and security policy issued late on Tuesday after the 12-hour round of the dialogue between representatives of Belgrade and Pristina, which ended without any agreement.

In her release, Ashton voiced expectation that following the consultations, the participants of the dialogue "will let her know in the next few days of their decision."
