Bohnet: Agreement should not be rushed
Head of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung office in Serbia Henri Bohnet said on Thursday he believed an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina on April 2 was possible, but that it should not be rushed, adding that the same thing went for setting the start date for Serbia's accession talks with the EU.

It is more important to use the time necessary to achieve a sustainable solution applicable in the field, instead of rushing into a poor compromise, Bohnet told Tanjug.
It is a legitimate question whether the decision on the start date for the accession talks between the EU and Serbia should be made now when the implementation of the agreements between Belgrade and Pristina has not yet begun, he remarked.
It is not an issue of now or never, but now or later, he added, pointing out that the decision concerning the date can be made every three months, during EU summits, and that Germany should allow the member countries time to evaluate the implementation of the agreements.
He hopes Brussels will realize it cannot be left to the two sides to implement the agreements on their own.
