Vucic: Offered paper unacceptable for Serbia
Aleksandar Vucic, Serbia's first deputy prime minister, said at a government session on Thursday that a paper was offered during the seventh round of dialogue in Brussels which Serbia had no way of accepting, The press has learned from sources inside the government.

Vucic, who presided over the session because Prime Minister Ivica Dacic is en route to New York where he will take part in a UN Security Council session on Kosovo, said that no one except the Serbian side showed any willingness to compromise.
"Members of the government, all of you know how dedicated we are to getting a date (for accession talks) and to EU integration. I will read to you one part of the proposal we received and the only thing I can say is that, unfortunately, no one but us showed readiness to make any concessions or compromise, which gave us absolutely no chance to accept what was offered," Vucic told ministers.
He stressed that Serbia will not give up on its European path.He expressed hope an agreement will be reached with Pristina, but also noted that "we cannot go before our people empty handed."
Continue dialogue, find solutions without pressure
he Serbian government is united in its stand that the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue should be continued in a constructive atmosphere and without pressure, and solutions found that should ensure the survival and safe life of Serbs in the southern province and open up Serbia's EU prospects.
At its Thursday sitting, the government estimated that only a just solution for the problems in Kosovo-Metohija could lead to a lasting stability in the entire region.
Serbia's First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic informed the government about the proceedings and results of the dialogue's seventh round that was held in Brussels on Wednesday.
It is in the interest of the Serbian government that a solution be reached that would ensure a dignified life and prosperity of all citizens, the government's press office announced.
