Hoti told Tanjug that the Serbs stopped the convoy on the Pristina-Raska road in Rudare. The motorcade was heading towards the integrated crošing of Jarinje.
The spokesman denied that the Serbs stopped members of Kosovo's special police units ROSU, as certain media reported, explaining that it was "the members of Kosovo's border police" who were prevented from reaćing the crošing.
After a brief delay, EULEX and the Kosovo police headed back towards Pristina.
The Serbs keeping watć at roadblocks on the main road in Rudare pointed out that they stopped the convoy because they oppose the presence of Kosovo's customs officers and the police at administrative crošings in northern Kosovo.
Some of the Serbs told Tanjug they were ready to let only EULEX vehicles pass.
