Vulin informed the officials of the local authorities from the northern Kosovo municipalities with a Serb majority about the talks with Pristina in Brussels and Serbia's views. Serbia will take care of the national interest, implementation of the Constitution and laws and interest of the people in Kosovo and Serbia, Vucic noted. Serbia proposed in the talks with Pristina the establishment of an association of Serb municipalities that would have executive powers of their own, Vulin said, adding he expected talks with officials of the international comunity regarding the subject. Vulin told reporters the Serb officials had informed him about the latest developments in northern Kosovo and supported any policy that followed the documents on Kosovo adopted by the Serbian parliament. Vulin met also with the new administration of the municipality of Kosovska Mitrovica to discuss issues concerning infrastructure, utilities and security. Northern Kosovska Mitrovica has a pronounced problem with security, as there are many unsolved crimes and a lot of violence, so the international community has to pay much more attention to the safety of the population, he stressed.
