"We believe the dialogue is in the interest of Belgrade, of Pristina, and in the common interest," Kocijancic told reporters, adding she has no special comment on Ivica Dacic's statement.
She confrimed that Ashton will begin the sixth round of dialogue with Dacic and Kosovo's Prime Minister Hasim Taci on Monday morning, and the talks are expected to end the same day.
Kocijancic could not reveal the exact agenda of the next round, but said the prime ministers will discuss the same topics they talked about last month, as well as the implementation of earlier agreements.
During the previous round of talks, Dacic and Tacic talked about the formation of a community of Serb municipalities in Kosovo.
They did not come to an agreement because Pristina refuses to discuss bestowing any executive powers on the community.
Serbia's senior officials agreed in a meeting Friday morning that Belgrade will continue to insist on executive authority for the community of Serb municipalities during the next round.
