The explosion happened in the neighborhood of Tri Solitera (Three Skyscrapers). An explosive device was thrown at the roof of the house belonging to Sadeta Aljiju near the hospital in Kosovska Mitrovica. Thanks to a fortunate turn of events, no one was injured, Tanjug learned from Aljiju's family members. Members of the Kosovo Police Service (KPS) and KFOR searched the scene. That was the third blast in the last two days whose perpetrators are yet to be found. The Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija strongly condemned the bomb attack, calling on the international community to find the perpetrators of this crime. “The Office for Kosovo fiercely condemns this crime and calls on the international community to find perpetrators of this, and all previous attacks,” the release reads.
