Milovic spoke at the celebration of the municipal day to state that Serbs want to stay in their country and that this was the reason they recently constituted the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo.

"We did not do this out of spite and unconstitutionally, but to remain in the framework of the Constitution and the state Serbia," the mayor said.

He added that Belgrade and the international community can and must offer better and more just solutions for all who live in Kosovo.

Milovic also said that the Albanians are implementing the Brussels agreement selectively and are using it as "a buffet" - applying only what suits them.

Milovic also thanked the Government Office for Kosovo for the reconstruction of facilities in the municipality.

The mayor announced that work will soon start to build a regional water supply for northern Kosovska Mitrovica, Zvecan and Zubin Potok, thereby resolving "one of the burning problems in the region."
